Hurts // Odessa, Ukraine // 22.06.2011 People in Ukraine are quite used to the fact that they have to wait for their fav bands for 5 years at least, until they come to our country, so when we learned that Hurts are coming already, we couldn’t really believe :D Imagine how we felt, when, like, 1,5 months after the first gig an other one in was announced. Moreover, there’s going to be a third one in October. God must be a Hurts fan. (submitted by jeopardise)

The Fray. Sunday 28th October 2008. Newcastle Academy. Back when pretty much everyone was obssessed with The Fray and How to Save a Life I managed to grab myself a ticket to their show. I remember it being a really good night and he bought out a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale which is made here and told us it was his favourite drink and he was excited to play here. Probably just saying it to win us over but it’s always nice to hear a band say they like your own city right?

Muse // Kiev, Ukraine // 24.05.2011 I was supposed to go as a photographer, but shortly before the gig all the press was denied photopasses. Only two days before the gig I won this ticket to go and see Muse with my friends, about 300 people helped me winning <3 (submitted by jeopardise)

Editors. Thursday 18th October 2007. Newcastle Academy. This wasn&#8217;t even meant to be my ticket, my parents had bought them but my Mam fell ill so being the wonderful daughter I am I didn&#8217;t let the ticket go to waste and went with my Dad instead. It was amazing! First time I&#8217;d been to the Academy for a gig and it was just as good a venue as I thought it&#8217;d be. I can&#8217;t remember too much about the gig itself but I do remember the singer climbing all over his piano which is always the sign of a good Editors show! There are downsides to gigging with the parents though, we had seating not standing tickets and my Dad insisted we left early to catch the last bus, which everyone else who left at the end still managed to do anyway. Can&#8217;t complain too much when I got the ticket for free though, eh?

Hi everyone! I&#8217;m not sure how well this Tumblr will work out to be honest, I like the idea of it but obviously I do because I went to these gigs in the first place you know. Anyway I&#8217;m just going to post about the gigs I&#8217;ve been to, that I still have tickets from anyway I&#8217;ve lost a fair few of them, and hopefully that&#8217;ll be interesting. I&#8217;ve also opened up a submission box so it&#8217;s not just me rambling all the time! This whole thing started because my Dad gave me all the tickets in the picture and I&#8217;d like to be able to keep mine that long as well and hopefully someone else will be as excited by seeing some of them as I was when I saw his.
